Hey All,
Ok, first off to answer a few questions I have got:
- Yes, I am still alive.
- No, I am not dead.
- Yes, I am still doing photography.
The last month has been pretty hectic for me. I have just changed jobs, the weather hasn’t been too flash and my personal life has been majorly busy. But it all seems to be stabilizing now. And being the nice guy, I am updating you all.
I have a photo shoot planned for this Saturday with Alicia but it’s dependant on the weather. Currently the BOM is predicting it’s going to be partly cloudy with late shower, so we’ll have to see how it goes. I am also trying to organise some more shoots as well so fingers crossed.
Last night, Victoria was hit with a massive storm cell which produced a very interesting effect. I was out chasing that storm from 6 till around 8. The particular cell I was chasing had a differential cloud layer (Two distinct cloud layers, one on top of the other). The layer on the top was very active while the lower layer was pretty dormant. Every few seconds, instead of lightning striking the ground, the electricity arced in between the two cloud layers. It was a very spectacular sight. I got some photos; once they are processed I’ll put them up.
